20Bet treats your personal data as a serious responsibility. This page sets out what data we collect, why we collect it, how we store it, who can access it and the rights you have under European data protection law. What personal data do we collect about you?
When you register we collect identification data such as your name, date of birth, address, email, phone number and a payment method. During verification we collect a copy of a government issued ID and a recent proof of address. During play we collect betting and gaming activity for compliance, anti fraud and responsible gambling purposes. We also collect device and connection information for security and analytics, including IP address, device type, browser version and approximate location.
How is your data used and who can access it?
Your data is used to operate the service, verify your identity, process payments, comply with licensing requirements, prevent fraud, manage responsible gambling tools, deliver promotions you opt in to and improve the platform. Access is limited to staff who need it for those purposes and to vetted third parties that support operations such as payment processors, verification services, hosting providers and licensed game providers. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
What rights do you have over your personal data?
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. Most of these rights can be exercised directly from your account settings, and the data protection officer can assist with any request that needs manual review. We respond to all requests within thirty days.
Data retention
Personal data is retained for as long as your account is active and for the period required by licensing and anti money laundering law after closure. Marketing data is deleted as soon as you withdraw consent. Aggregated and anonymised analytics may be retained for longer periods in a form that cannot identify you. Specific retention periods for each data category are available on request.
Security
All connections to 20Bet are protected with SSL encryption. Stored data is protected through encryption at rest, access controls and regular security testing. Payment data is processed through PCI compliant providers and card details are never stored on our own systems in clear form. We notify affected users and the supervisory authority in case of a personal data breach in line with statutory timelines.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for the service to function, but analytics and marketing cookies are fully optional.
